Tableau dashboard of British Airways reviews across various categories

This Tableau project visualizes over seven years of passenger reviews for British Airways to uncover patterns in customer satisfaction. The dashboard allows users to explore how overall ratings vary by month, country, traveler type, and aircraft model.

🎯 Project Goal

The goal of this project was to showcase data visualization and dashboard design directly in Tableau. It focuses on turning raw review data into a clear, interactive view of how passengers rate their flight experiences.

🧭 Insights

  • Average Overall Rating: 4.2 out of 5, suggesting moderate satisfaction across all flights.

  • Highest-Rated Aircraft: Boeing wide-body jets (747, 777, and 787) earned the strongest passenger ratings.

  • Regional Differences: Satisfaction levels are largely consistent across regions, though Africa shows a lower average rating that may be influenced by fewer reviews.

  • Category Trends: Cabin Staff Service receives consistently positive feedback, while Food and Entertainment score the lowest on average.

🧩 Dashboard Features

  • Interactive filters for traveler type, seat class, and aircraft group.

  • Time series and geographic map views to visualize rating trends over time and across countries.

  • Dual bar charts comparing average rating by aircraft and number of reviews, helping identify where feedback is most concentrated.

💡 Business Impact

By visualizing customer sentiment across routes and aircraft, this dashboard highlights key service strengths and weaknesses. Insights like these can help airlines identify which aircraft deliver the best passenger experiences, where regional improvements are needed, and how in-flight service quality trends change over time.
